From Logran W. Fry:
Straight extract from the “about” page for “Desire” – my new brain scan
movie. See links at bottom of page.

If my work is about anything, it is about modularity and remixability (Lev
Manovich); I merely refer to it as cultural transformation, where an object like
an early Intel EPROM chip can transform across multiple media and platforms.
Such transformation is almost definitional for humans; digital technology
merely gives new tools. Indeed, we are now on the verge of the realization of the
observation: “All art can be reduced to a sequence of binary bits, zeros and
ones in endless succession.”

‘Pacman Bey’ is a simplistic art project that is meant to be minimal,
ironic, fun, rapidly consumable; yet provides connections between text (text
as character strings as well as content), images, symbols and internet
culture. The quote is taken from Peter Lamborn Wilson’s (aka Hakim Bey)
writings about temporary autonomous zones.

Tell a mouse
Between Happening and Ephemeral art, transdisciplinaries works to experiment virtual relations ; collaborative and participative, based on the principle of remote proximity, networked spaces open to everybody, without frontiers and out of time, where art is social and social is art.
