Calling on all artists of the world to participate in ART TECH MEDIA 06 and exhibit their works in a variety of Spanish Museums.
Artworks will be accepted from the following categories:

- Net-art
- Computer Animation

ART TECH MEDIA 06 is a Meeting of Artists, Museum Directors, Art
Centres,
Media Lab, Thinkers, Curators, Gallery owners, Collectors, Cultural
Agents,
Politicians and Society, in many cases, confused by the methods and
concepts
which are so different from the traditional ways of producing of art,
its
exhibition, collecting, and way of contemplating.
ART TECH MEDIA 06 was born with the intention of reflecting, analyzing
and
viewing art produced using new technologies in Spain within an
international
context, and the impact that our polyhedric altered reality has on their
widespread use.
It will be developed in different sections: Lectures, Round Tables,
official
announcements for video artists from all over the world, and exhibitions
in
the participating venues.

ART TECH MEDIA 06 ,es un Encuentro de Artistas, Directores/as de Museos,
Centros de Arte, MediaLab, Pensadores/as, Comisarios/as, Galeristas,
Coleccionistas, Agentes Culturales, PolÃticos y una sociedad, en muchos
casos, desconcertada ante unos métodos y conceptos tan distintos a los
tradicionales en la producción de arte, su exhibición, coleccionismo y
la
manera de contemplarlo.
ART TECH MEDIA 06 nace con el propósito de reflexionar, analizar y
visionar
el arte realizado con las nuevas tecnologÃas en España en un contexto
internacional y la incidencia que, en nuestra poliédrica realidad
alterada,
está teniendo su uso generalizado.
Se desarrollará en diferentes apartados: Conferencias, Mesas de Debate,
convocatorias para la participación de vÃdeo-artistas de todo el mundo y
exhibiciones en los Centros participantes.

Convocatoria
ART TECH MEDIA 06
convoca a todos los artistas del mundo a participar con sus obras en las
exhibiciones que se realizarán en diferentes museos españoles.
Se podrá participar en los siguientes apartados:
- VÃdeoarte
- Net-art
- Animación y 3D
